Energy & Advanced Engine System / Energy Conversion System / Power Generation Energy System Laboratory is the one of the key Laboratories in the school of Mechanical Engineering of Pusan National University.
The School of Engineering in PNU has grown up and has been developed since it was designated to a special institute by the government 1974 and a institute of National policy Project 1994.
The laboratory had been established in this circumstance by professor Chang. It was named Internal Combustion Engine Laboratory at that time.This laboratory expanded to three divisions namely EASY, ECOS and PGES laboratory with three advisers, professor Young June Chang, professor Chung Hwan Jeon and professor Ju Hun Song respectively. So, this lab has a momentum for performing research with ardent passion.
This lab had focused on the internal engine related research in early years. But they expanded their research topic into energy conversion system. They have got great achievements in those research fields.
They are very active in participation of various research society and publishing research papers every years in prominent internal and international journals.
This laboratory has led the researches in the field of automotive industry and energy conversion system industry as well.they produced high quality engineers.
This research laboratory produced 11 Ph.D degree holders and 55 master degree holders by 2008
